No. Amazon DSP is unique in that you can link to either your products on Amazon or your products elsewhere, such as your own site.

With Amazon DSP, your ads will appear on Desktop Display, Web Display, Mobile Apps and Video Pre-Roll. Not only will your brand get in front of consumers on Amazon sites, but other leading sites as well, in accordance with the following categories:

  1. Amazon Owned & Operated (for example, Amazon.com, IMDB, Amazon mobile apps and Fire T.V.)
  2. Leading Publisher Sites (high-quality brand-safe environments)
  3. Third Party Exchanges (industry-leading open exchanges)

There are four basic ad formats used by Amazon DSP:

  1. Dynamic eCommerce Ads (DEA) - Automatically display a combination of your product image, headline and brand logo, or custom design your own image. Creation of DEA ads is included in your Product Labs, LLC management fee.
  2. Static & Creative Banners - Display banners on the side of an Amazon search page or within the payment section once a customer goes to checkout. Creation of custom banner ads is available but may require additional fees.
  3. In-Stream Video - 6 to 30 seconds of video delivered through streaming media platforms like Amazon Fire TV, Fire Stick as well as other mediums. Videos appear within the video content, either before, during or after it shows. Video ad creatives are not included in the Product Labs, LLC management fee and must be supplied by the client.
  4. Over-the-Top (OTT) Video - 6 to 30 seconds of video delivered through streaming media platforms like Amazon Fire TV, Fire Stick as well as other mediums. Videos do not appear within video content and typically leverage the existence of a display ad unit to deliver a video ad. OTT video ads are not included in the Product Labs, LLC management fee and must be supplied by the client.
